CHARACTER NAME: Susan Pevensie
CHARACTER SERIES: Chronicles of Narnia

Brief Background: Susan grew up in England late 1920s-40s, though she doesn't remember that. She was 12 years old in 1940 when her younger sister Lucy discovered a wardrobe that took the two of them and their two brothers, Peter and Edmund, into a magical land called Narnia, largely populated by fantastical creatures and Talking Animals. Due to a prophecy (and much to Susan's chagrin,) the four Pevensie siblings got involved in a war between the Narnians and their tyrant "Queen," a witch named Jadis. When they won, the Four were crowned Kings and Queens and Narnia.

It's been 15 years since then. Narnia is well and truly Susan's home. She has only the faintest memory of any other. She has fought, bled, wept, and worked for Narnia and is a loving Queen that seeks the best for her subjects. Though she'll be perfectly pleasant and incredibly helpful on the Danaë, she's going to want to get home as soon as she can and will do everything she can to help that. Also, I headcanon that in Narnia she's at least a little responsible for the espionage network, given that she's known for her caution and practicality, so her behavior initially on the Danaë is going to reflect that-- She won't be introducing herself as Queen Susan of Narnia, or even Susan Pevensie. She'll just be Susan, or, if pressed, "Lady Susan of the Horn." Again, she'll be very kindly & sweet! Just also very cautious and suspicious because new place, new people, and vastly different technological advances than what she knows.

[OOC]

Backtagging: Yes. I'll be doing the same.
Threadhopping: Fine on network posts unless marked private; chat to me for logs!
Fourthwalling: No, please.
Offensive subjects/triggers: Please do a warning for car accidents/self-harm. Those're my only two hard rules. Otherwise, check in if they're meandering towards more explicit sex content. Sometimes depending on my headspace I may need a bit more time/a heads up with anything in the depression/suicidal ideation/abuse (esp. emotional) range.

[IC]

Hugging this character: Not if she doesn't know your character well, and even then with the empathy bond, probably less so. The most intimate you can expect during acquaintanceship is probably a touch to the hand/shoulder, if that.
Kissing this character: It'll take some warming up to the idea! She's very conscious of her rank and even though she's hiding that rank, it's still on the mind.
Flirting with this character: Oh, definitely. She'll probably flirt, too, regardless of gender.
Fighting with this character: Not averse, but let's plan it out! I imagine this is most likely in the case of sparring lessons or some Planet Induced Shenanigans.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Mild injuries through broken bones is fine! Again, let's plan it out.
Killing this character: Nope-- except in memes/things not in game-canon
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character/Empathy bond details:  Generally she gives off a very calm vibe, at least on the surface. Depending on how intense the other emotion(s) she's feeling, they'll might drift through, especially if there's any physical contact. For particularly strong feelings, there might be a memory or two that rolls through .I'll usually discuss in prose with it being an option for your character.

As for telepathy/mind reading, I'm chill with your character picking up those surface thoughts and I'll probably do a similar thing of saying in prose what they'll find. Deeper things, let's discuss. She won't be too keen on the fact that someone can read her thoughts, though, and might ask for shielding lessons.

Warnings: I mean technically she and her siblings were child soldiers? That was a while ago from when I took her from, though, but it might come up. More importantly, a year before the canon point she's taken from she had a dalliance with a guy that turned out to be an abusive Epic Ass. It resolved before anything really awful could happen & before she was really properly committed/in a relationship and all, but it was a bad time and it shook her confidence and comes up sometimes, esp. if interactions with men drift towards romance.

If there's anything you're concerned about/want to opt out of/have questions about/want to clarify, leave a comment here! They're screened. LMK if you want me to keep them screened when I reply or if it's okay to unscreen them.

Character name: Queen Susan Pevensie the Gentle
Age: 27
Canon: Chronicles of Narnia
Info: Wikipedia page! From the canon point I'm taking her not terribly much is known about the past 15 years of her life. She has been a Queen of Narnia for the duration of that time, and considering said time is referred to as the "Golden Age," it can be presumed that she and her siblings ruled well, albeit with the likely problems that come with rebuilding a country that has been under the control of an evil power for some time. The canon information provided in the book The Horse and His Boy and the tail end of the The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe are the most recent things to happen for her.
Canon point: The very end of the Golden Age, when she and her family are on the hunt for the White Stag. She would've ended up in England, but instead she's here.

Samples: Two at the TDM, one on her younger account for spy flavor

Plans: So many!
  • A new universe to understand and learn about, and new people to charm/befriend!
  • Susan is a big fan of logistics and will probably throw herself into helping solve the problem of how to feed all the people on this ship/make sure supplies are sorted (siege tactics babey.)
  • Popular fanon is that Susan helped helm the espionage teams in Narnia, which is consistent with her caution, practicality, and drive for information. She will most likely hide her identity as a Queen from everyone (except Perseus, who will see her with her crown on) as soon as she arrives. It would be very pleasing to me if it were to come out regardless (mayhaps a little messily.)
  • Speaking of drive for information-- she's gonna do so many Chatting with Perseus to get crew logs/figure out if there's anything to be learned about the anomaly based on on-ship records.
  • She is also very gentle, as her title in Narnia implies, and will probably be a nice calming well of emotions for folks who are more volatile in nature. We love empathy bonding.
  • Although she's not as skilled as others in her canon, I'll probably have her bopping about in the medical unit because although not necessarily canonically stated, it tracks that she'd have some skills appropriate to the day-to-day running of a kingdom/battlefield care (bandaging/cleaning wounds, setting bones, etc.)
Suggestions: For on-planet trips, maybe some hunting! Maybe also a team getting stranded and having to fend for themselves for a bit! (something something lightning storms) Also full on memory sharing is /chef's kiss
